If you message the seller directly they should be able to help you.

They supplied me with it loaded onto a laptop with the lead to plug into you car port.

The original poster of this thread (chaeshired5) hasn't been active for nearly two years.

Very nice guy, helpful, with a wealth of knowledge... I hope he's alright. I see he uploaded a video recently to his youtube channel, but not been on this forum for a long time.

May be worth looking at alternative sellers if you need VIDA/Dice.

Hi, I've had VIDA 2014D and DICE since a couple of years installed on an old backdated laptop and have been working well. But now than I trie to read the vehicle in VIDA I get the message "unable to get value of the property '0': object is null or undefined" I tried to fill in some blanks manually or select a previously used car but gets the same message. Can't do anything with VIDA then this message has appeared. Anyone who knows what have went wrong and how to fix it?

Hi again, have to say that it is working again, don't know what was wrong but I opened the DICE to see if something was wrong inside, disconnected and re-connected the wiring to the mainboard. After reassembly I tested to connect to my volvo again, this time I had the engine running since it was running low of battery last time, and now it connected and read my vehicle with no problems. So, bad connection to mainboard? Low on battery? I don't really know the cause of failure but I'm glad it works again

The engine has to be running in order for the Dice to work correctly.

sorry to bring up a old post! i got a vida dice from si back in 2016! i need to help someone with it but i dont the life of me remember how to install the program onto the computer. Long shot, does anyone have the instrution still or even the program exe file installer?
