HIGH REVING IF PULLING AWAY QUICKLY
My little e reg 340gl seems to stick on high revs if i have to pull away quickly, of if i go at high speeds for a while [on motorways].
MY friend who is a mechanic doesn't have any idea why, so suggested asking you guys. Any ideas? x( |

RE: HIGH REVING IF PULLING AWAY QUICKLY
I'm gonna preface this reply by saying I know nothing about CVT's.
There is a 'low gear hold' vacuum line and associated servo, I think. Is it possible that one of these lines is cracked or the servo is stuck? I'm sure that someone more knowledgeable than me will reply to this. |

RE: HIGH REVING IF PULLING AWAY QUICKLY
Hello,
Is it possible that the accelerator inner cable is catching on the outer sheath? This sound a bit like a problem I had on my old 265 when the accelerator was 'floored'at any time the cable jammed - also after running at higher speeds for a time. A dealership put the problem down to the cable jamming on the carpetting as it went through the bulkhead.
