Default Terra clean

Hi Guys

has anyone done the terra clean through a V50 D5 auto and if so what were the benefits if any.

its just that mine has 125,000 miles clocked up on it, and after a run out on the bank holiday I filled it with the premium diesel that is supposed to give more performance & mpg but I only managed 41mpg.

average speed over 160 miles was 60/70mph.

tyre pressures were checked before and after journey.

Is there anything else I could do to improve mpg.

cheers in advance

when was it last serviced? Get under and have a good look at the fuel filter; has it *really* been changed?

41 is what my v6 jag does at (cough) mph with both turbos up and active!

Consider doing a Diesel Purge.
Top stuff.

Thumbs up Terra Clean

Hi,
I have used this company on my last S40 and now on my new C302.4 and have to admit when on the motorway cruising around 70mph my car returns around 38mpg if I stick to 60mph and use cruse control its around 45mpg and have also had this tested and confirmed on a rolling road .

Red face V50 Engine D5 Terra clean

Hello I'm new to this and still looking after months for my perfect V70 D5 185 Circa late 2005 FWD or AWD model.

On this matter, I put Shell Vpower diesel into my 2005 Mondeo 130 TDCI and added a KN air filter and didn't notice any difference until half way through my second full tank of fuel. The car spluttered and gave out this large cloud of smoke and then took off. Fuel economy improved by 10 - 15% dependent on driving style and has stayed the same ever since of about 20,000 miles.

Keep with it for a bit longer and yours may improve too. Good luck
