Default Stretched Spoiler???

Yesterday I caught my front spoiler on a high kerb in a car park. Getting the car off the kerb was made more difficult because the car travelled over the kerb, and then because there was a slight drop beyond the kerb, the spoiler snagged when I tried to reverse off.
I tried getting out of the car and pushing the car backwards, hoping the 2/3mm suspension rise would be enough to unhook the spoiler but no...
I eventually had to slowly reverse and expected to see the spoiler/bumper lying in front of the car, but no it did not - I suppose I was lucky.
But..
The bottom line is my spoiler now looks like attached pic, but I can feel no place it may have come detatched from. So I'm left with the conclusion that in some way the spoiler has stretched(????) Is this true/possible ;and what am I able to do to try and fix this issue.

Comments/suggestions as always welcome.

Cheers
Bob

If you take the bumper cover off you will see what has happened and hopefully be able to clip it back into place ...

Ok.. Took the bumper off. There was no area where the clips had pull out, and it was soon obvious that the spoiler had just been sprained. By the application of pressure the down bow could be removed, but when the pressure was released it came back.
Heat Gun ( the kind for stripping paint) + garden gloves worked a treat. Working the gun in a continuous movement softened the plastic enough to get it to be "deformed" into the correct shape, and when it cooled the shape was 75% retained. Repeated working got the spoiler to almost what it should be - see pic.
Its deffo a job for thick gloves, as the plastic does get quite hot even through the gloves.
Its not 100% perfect, but I'm not a perfect driver and I'm 90% certain I'll snag the spoiler again and need to repeat this process.

Cheers

No one would know :-) You can appreciate the quality of the plastic now , It is soft and does not crack like all the other cars which have thin brittle plastic , when they are hit the road is covered with triangular pieces of broken plastic . .
