Default Front spring for 260 pls

Just failed MOT on broken n/s front spring!
And rear n/s brake recording little or no effort.

On the plus side car sounded fantastic going up the road.

So a 260 spring pls.
They are thicker than 240 spring and slightly stiffer.
Thanks Ian

There is a Chap on the 200 sales section with a pair of GLT springs- not exactly the same, but would possibly get you mobile again?
Can't see the V6 weighs more than a four pot.
Happy hunting,
James.

Thx this is exhausting!
I've done the search 270 breakers thing to get no replies.
Rang all the Volvo breakers off here that are local.
I don't want to rely on post or courier as I could end up having to pay for retest if it gets delayed.
I've got some 760 springs offered to me.
The free length is the same but they are 2mm bigger in diameter.
If the pigtails are same and no clearance probs I'm gonna run them.

Till I get my spring off and see em I'm still open to suggestions.
Thx

Rang the main stealer before.
Originally 5 different front springs available.
Varying in coil thickness was only thing they could tell me.

Now only available in two options of 13.8mm + 14.2mm coil diameter.
Mine have a blue dot on them.
Dealership doesn't have spring rates, inner diameters, outer diameters or anything.

And they could take 2 weeks to arrive so a waste of time. Lol

Default 240

Why not put some 240 springs on for the MOT, and look for the correct ones later? The only downside will be that it sits a little lower, not really a issue with a car that rides so high as standard.

Got nowhere with 260 spring.
760 perches were wrong
So kinda thought whats the point putting 240 springs on for mot and
then doing the job again?
Ordered some lowered springs from Dai today!
Should be fitted and MOT'ed next week.
