XC60 2021 Dashcam options

Hi all,

I want to buy dashcam for my XC60 2021. I stumbled upon this, so far:

Anyone fitted dashcam like this one before, integrated to car electrics? Any problems? I will need to find UK stock at some point, or import this cam (its USA stock I think), your thoughts and feedback appreciated.

Neat execution, main reason we've never bothered is that I'm yet to see a tidy OEM-like install.

Looks similar to https://fitcamx.com/. If I didn’t have a universal dashcam I’d go for the FitcamX.

So you have universal dashcam, how did you choose to power it?

I used one of these, the wire tucks away quite nicely without any clips all the way at the top of the screen and down to the OBD port. Mine uses a mini usb but they have an option for micro.

My car interior looks exactly like in the video, so it all should be compatible. Next thing, I will open up the plastic and see if I have these cables exposed, if I do, then installation will be painless.

You may find it’s cheaper ordering on fitcamx web site, I asked them about shipping, tax, duty etc and they said price is cost after tax etc. Send them a message to check.
