Default Rear Seats in XC90 - issues

Have just bought a 2011 R design, and there appears to be a fault with one of the 3rd row seats. To put down, I would usually pull the handle and slide the seat bottom backwards, however the seat is sticking half way and took a lot of effort to put down. Looks like there is something preventing it from moving.

Would some pte spray work, or is it something more serious? Just wondered whether someone out there has any ideas.

I’ve had mine stuck before as some tools stopped the seat bottom sliding all the way back. Lift up the boot floor and make sure nothing is fouling.

Thanks. Watched a couple of videos online. The plastic grommets that catch the mechanism when the seat is pushed back can come loose and/or fall off, stopping the mechanism from operating the seat.

Will have a look tomorrow and see what's there.

Thanks for replying.

Had a look, the seat in question appears to be loose and cannot move back fully as it catches on the metal stops. The other seat glides underneath them. I can slide it back from the back, from the boot floor.

Will need a further look.....any thoughts anyone?

Thanks
