Default Amazon Saloon Fuel Tank For Sale

Hey crazy VOC ers,

My saloon fuel tank is up for sale again. I really need it gone, so it's available at a suitably low price.

It came out of a 1965 122S that had been converted to a fuel cell for classic rallying. The neck and sender are included and can be seen in the pictures.

It's near Stockport and I'd like £30 for it. It's also on eBay and I'll end the auction early if needs be.

Postage was £17 last time I checked. If you do want it posting make damn sure you want it, because it's not the easiest thing to drag to a PO, and I've had two people on here change their minds on me at the last minute.

EBay auction is here....

AFAIK it will fit all B18 saloons. I imagine the early B16 stuff, the estates and the B20 engined cars would have a different tank arrangement.

Can't speak for B16s or B20s, but I can confirm that saloons & estates definately have different tanks!

Hi. Do you still have this fuel tank? If yes, how much do you want to get rid of it and if you can please check postage to SE288QP. Ta, Kassie

Kassie, do you have some kind of weird form of ADD that prevents you from reading previous posts?

Tank is £30, postage to your crib in London is £17. It's all up there, I've not hidden it or anything......

Kassie, do you want this tank? PM me or something so I can work out what's going on.

Kassie, as I appear to be replying to myself here, I'd like to make you aware of a decision I've made.

I've gone ahead and sold it to my good mate Gary Gabelich, who, as you know, has a roving sky base above the A556 in Cheshire. If the cloud cover's right next week he's going to drop down to my unit and pick it up in exchange for the price that's cunningly disguised in two posts within this thread.

I think he's a top bloke, and to be honest I stand a better chance of him picking it up than you.

What the hell is it with this tank? This is the third person who's dicked me about when I've tried to sell it?

Good times.
