Hi Elliot,
please could you give me a price for tv in dash ( I have no sat nav unit in dash) and headrests with freeview. Also be able to plug in usb for movies. With headphone jacks.

I have just taken delivery of my XC90 and I am having problems with the RSE system. I have been copying DVD's which play fine on my indoor DVD player but the RSE system spits them out. Any ideas??

Hi, to be honest I am unsure of what formats the new player will handle, you are best to ask your dealer for a spec sheet.

I did initially look at the data that came with the car and could not find anything about the format. In the end I tried a +R DVD instead of a -R and it now works.

This is the first Volvo I have owned, and it's a lovely car, but in general the documentation is not that good.

Hi Elliott2,

I have an '06 XC90 D5 SE with Premium Sound (+ 10 disc DVD twin screen RSE) and have a few questions, I don't know how much you can answer but here goes!

1. What options do I have for connecting an iPod and how much to fit, or how difficult is it for a DIY?

2. Can the iPod be connected instead of the in-dash MiniDisc?

3. How much for a rear-view camera installation?

4. Is there a way to get the sound from the RSE through the speakers or through the headphone jacks thus eliminating the wireless headphones?

5. Do you know what the cause is for a message of 'Please Wait' on the in-car phone unit? I am using a newish 3G Orange Sim.

6. Do you have system layout diagrams for the audio and RSE so I have a better idea of what connects to where etc.

I live in the Portsmouth area, and although willing to take on installation work myself, would be interested to find out your costs for the above items, where relevant, as it would be a lot easier!

Hi Peter

I have an XC90 with 10 Disc DVD and swivel monitors RSE.
I need a remote control, some new foam covers for the thomson headphones and also a charger for the headphones.
