Headlight protectors
Evening all,
Found a set of used headlight protectors from my dads old 240 in the shed yesterday and just wondered if they’re worth anything? |

If they are in good clean condition, yes!

They can fetch silly money (in my opinion). I got a set for one of my old VW Polo's and they cost me a tenner. I saw people trying to sell them for £50 upwards - the value is what you perceive them to be. |

I had a pair once, they came with the car I think. They weren't a very good fit, and one broke after being hit by a thrown up stone.

I only ever use them for shows lol - take them off when I'm actually driving. |

There was a set on my GLT when I bought it, which I in turn left on the car when I sold it. I must confess that I never expected them to become the prized accessory that they would appear to have now become, although I suppose there are not now that many left! Regards, John.

My comment was supposed to be an ironic response to something Thorne said: 'I only ever use them for shows lol - take them off when I'm actually driving.' ... and so a rhetorical rather than candid question

Much like the oddity of collecting stamps, or having all of your chrome ware polished to an inch of its life. - A car with oddments that the dealership offered just ticks a box for me. |
