S60 Electrics: - "Check Brake Lights", Intermittent Message

Hi, intermittently im getting the check brake lights message...

when i pull up to a garage or have someone with me, typically, they work fine!

Any help would be appreciated...

However, have been looking for solutions and see relays being mentioned yet cannot find anywhere online to get the replacement part...

change both bulbs, one of them is starting to go.

will do, gonna go to volvo and get a relay too and change that with the bulbs see if it helps...

you have an intermittent bulb.

the reason i think its the relay is that both brake lights fail at the same time... would a dodgy bulb cause the pair to fail?

does anybody have a diagram of the location of the correct relay. the part is coming on monday but dont actually know what one it is!!!
