Talking RT Mechanic's

Big thanks to Russ, Andy, Lucy, Simon & Derrick for the TEA!
Popped the car to RT's for service and health check on Thursday and as usual Russ was good enough to spend time with me although busy and was good enough to show me all the work he has done to the Peril so far very interesting! and the power graphs OMG! I am no expert but that’s hitting supercar territory, Also noticed that he lost 10Bhp & torque using NA cams! when comparing RR print outs, did not hear it running as Russ had the engine out for more R&D as if it's not fast enough already, his friend showed me a vid on his phone just starting it up and revving it and all i can say is it sounds like anti aircraft fire wow!
Russ gave me a loan car as always and popped off with it till this morning.
These guys’s don’t miss a trick needed a new oil pressure switch, I new i was using oil but didn't know i was loosing it! also i though that the engine was getting a bit long in the tooth as it did not feel that powerful any more turned out boost was down to 7-8 psi now back at 1.2 Bar and feels like it should again Russ also assured me that the engine was fine for 133K and it got as good test on the way back, Big difference! had new DS2500 on the front & rears de glazed as they where squeaking, had spoke to Russ about replacement's for the rear to stop horrid noise so saved me a bunch of money there, had to have two new front tyres as well and Russ managed to get them almost at internet prices and fitted and done as well.
So a big thanks to Russ and the team again for another sterling job.
Greg

Just used these guys for a V70 ('99) service & a complete check over. Russ & Andy really do know their subject........the fault list on my car was long, but prioritised by Andy. I will be back for them to fix the other items. I am not local to these guys (90 mins drive) but well worth the time & drive to them. They called me everytime to ask permission to spend extra money if required. Really nice to find a garage who specialise, are interested in your car & keen to do a good job. Never seen so many V70/850s in one place. Decided the MOT will be done by RT. I have more local garages but I confess RT's have won a new customer. Visit them & experience good customer service.

My brothers S70R and my 850R are currently down there, have been using them for over a year since I first got mine and tbh can't fault them. Never dealt with a more professional honest establishment

I just thought I would add my glowing recommendation for these guys.

Booked my S40 in for cam belt and aux belt change, they also removed my locking wheel nuts for me and gave the brakes a once over.

The service was 2nd to none and was kept informed of the progress. I will not hesitate to use them again, despite the inevitable wallet lightening.

The only downside was that i had a 2.5 850 while mine was being worked on, and now i want to get myself a volvo with a proper engine in it!

Default Good work

RT have had my S60 for two years and the service has been second to none. Prior to that I had dealer services but having a full service instead of the volvo mileage linked service for a 140K car makes more sense to me.
Keep up the good work!
