Had mine fitted at a Volvo garage after receiving a message from Volvo paid £300 . Not worked since being installed end of Nov . Why should I take out the sim every time I want to view , total rubbish . Going to ask for it to be removed and total refund

Have you talked to your dealer? Volvo UK withdrew the camera recently and are re-evaluating the newer model I presume..

Was Volvo installing both front and rear cameras or only the front one? I've noticed that roadhawk dc4 website shows that rear camera is available?

Thumbs down Roadhawk d4 removed

Hi had Roadhawk D4 fitted Dec 2023 .never connected to my phone from day one , was told app getting updated 😆. now Jan 2024 after update on app still didn’t connect via WiFi . So just been to the dealer ship who fitted the dash cam that Volvo said it was the only one they recommend. And had it removed after a few emails . Now have to wait for my £300 refund said it will take ten days 🤞. In my opinion don’t get Roadhawk fitted as the soft ware is unusable with either iso or android . So beware

Regards Robo

Volvo withdrew this cam last summer for further evaluation so they must have had some problems with it. Are they selling the later model now?

Default Does dc4 have GPS signal receiving issue?

I had issues with dc3 installed by the Johnsons Gloucester dealership for over a year. The issues are faulty on continuous recording as it failed to record the incident I had). Next, failing to receive GPS signal (I think this can be related on wiring windscreen) as I have been told by support of dashcam company that the GPS issue is related to model dc3 and on newer version dc4 this issue will be addressed.
So, I was wondering if the dc4 has the issue of receiving GPS signal?

I collected my new to me V60 CC today and during the handover I asked about having a dashcam fitted, to which I was told there is not one currently available for my car as a Volvo fit accessory.

They will let me know when one does become available. I hope it’s not too long as I am very reluctant to go for Halfords type alternative in such a new and complicated car!

There was an update on the DC 4 situation sent to dealers recently they should have answers now one way or the other.
