Maybe for you... You got any updates for your T5 thread? I'm following it avidly. Not that I would have a clue about doing something like that, but it's great to follow.
Edit> Just seen the update. Liking the spoiler idea. That's a nice car though, I love that colour. Last edited by yragyrag90; Jan 30th, 2012 at 16:07. |

I just noticed the missing steering column shroud and passenger footwell carpet pulled down, maybe a stolen recovered vehicle? Looks to be in generally OK condition though, and the price is good at the moment!

Now that is nice! No towbar either, so it hasn't been towing horseboxes for the last 20 years.

It says Cat X, which is not an 'official' write-off category but it does mean the insurance company had paid out a full writeoff on the policy, it usually means that vehicle has been stolen and recovered after the policy had paid out, which makes the car the property of the insurance company. I would bet money if you ran a HPI or similar check on it, it'd come back reported stolen in the last 6 months.
Not that that's necessary a bad thing, the damage if any at all is probably minor and easily repairable, and the car looks well looked after. I just figured that any potential buyers should know what to look for! The full reg on that car is G872OGK if anybody has a way to do a HPI check for free, I'm not paying!

Other reasons for not buying it: it hasn't got a sliding steel sunroof; can't afford it.
