480 thinks its in Siberia
The exterior temperature is definitely pessimistic - reading minus 34 degrees on average. I know the UK summers arent great, but.....! Anyone else had this problem? Any solutions or tips?
Other than that my M Reg ES is a fabulous car (in Storm Grey) and a great runner. I do need a new front spoiler though :o) anyone got one for sale? Total dream car a Citroen DS 21 efi or prestige. Maybe one day both - for when the DS is awaiting parts..... Thanks to all, and its very good to find this group. Sam |

RE: 480 thinks its in Siberia
Hi Sam,
Funnily enough my car thinks its should take its reading from the North Pole as its stuck at 40 (buurrrr), its a faulty temperature sensor located in the front Grill of the 480 (just above the Volvo Badge). It can be pushed out and disconnected, all is you need then is small mortgage to order one from Volvo, (not sure how much I must find out) Hope this helps |
