Default A few new pics of our 1972 144

Just had a service and found out why she was being a little thirsty on the fuel; a blocked driver side brake hose
Took the pics on the way home.

Well, took a few moments and rushed out to take these few pics. Not the best taken I'm afraid but will get some better ones and post them. By the way, I've already posted some of Snoopy just after we bought her (see 140/164 Series Sales June 20th 2012) but didn't realise that I'd put her in the wrong section, so sorry about that. Really enjoy seeing other members' cars on here.

Cheers
Lindz

Very nice indeed

Why did Volvo swap the brake servo from one side to the other - on RHD cars? I guess around 1971???

Hi Billy. Being very new to Volvo's I have no idea so will leave the answer to those in the know. Very interesting question though.

The brake pedal on LHD cars is on that side. UK rhd ones are the odd ones out

Very nice, I'm really getting to like these 140s, a 142 would be lovely.
