Thumbs up Strut Brace - WOW !

Hi All,

Took the R out for a bit of a drive today , boy does it handle better with the strut brace especially when powering out of corners no wheel spin now

I thought it handled well b4 the brace but its made a noticible difference ... Excellent mod

Get it from Volvo themselves, they retail for about £70-£80

Nick

I got it at SW Auto's £72 pounds and he did me a deal on the panel filter

You can get them from Volvo for about £66 ish which includes a 10% VOC discount

Glad to hear that Rich, particularly as it was me that got you thinking of buying one.

What's a panel filter?

Yes you can get one. The S60R has one. Search the S60 forum and you should find a strut brace thread from a few months ago. Includes a couple of pics of S60s with strut braces.

Ring your dealer for confirmation.

One of the best mods around mate. Try ebay, there is always one or two on their. I got one of mine from Nordic at the BKV 2005 for £35. But if it costs £135 it's worth it!

Hi,

Sorry for butting in here, but is there a recommended Strut Brace for the 900 series as well, and is the gain to be made from adding one worthy of the investment.
Or should the Anti-roll bar upgrade be contemplated first.?

Thanks,

Des. . .
