PV Doves Horsham / Doves Gatwick lost franchise?

I was chatting to a chap about his XC40 (he hates it!) and he mentioned that Doves has lost the Volvo franchise.

Is this true?

As a long-standing customer of Doves, they’ve not contacted me to advise of any changes.

That said, they used to be the best franchise dealer I’d ever dealt with for any marque but over the last year or so their customer service has gone from hero to zero.

The Gatwick branch is now a "Volvo Specialist" and the Horsham branch is still going as far as I'm aware, although I've found customer service in both branches to be poor verging on abysmal. Perhaps the new Harwoods dealership on Manor Royal will be better.
