The cruise control will not engage with a faulty brake pedal sensor. Swap it.

Excuse my ignorance, but is there a part number for this?
Couldn’t see one on Vida?
Is the part a switch?

Thanks

Ordered the brake pedal sensor from Frf.
Have not fitted it yet.

Took it for a drive today, school run and was expecting the Brake service light to pop up, which it did.
So quickly on my lunch break, plugged in Vida and load of errors popped up!
And I can’t lock the car from the keyphob again!

When I finish work this evening I’ll check;
The CEM for water ingress as it has rained heavily
I’ll plug in Vida again

Is it worth disconnecting the battery again?
Anything else I can check?

Thanks

Default Ffs!

Plugged the Vida in

And the following codes popped up - fist picture when plugged in
Second picture when erased and reset.

What could be causing these error codes?
Not only that:-
Car still not not locking with phob
Rear lights stay on when key removed - hence having to disconnect the battery battery every time I leave the damn car!
The rev needle is now at the 4pm position
Air bag light on and states needs servicing

I’m honestly at a bit of a loss because each time I plug Vida in, it’s different codes!?
Any pointers or advice...please.

I'd start with CEM. Look for corrosion, especially at the connector. Check the carpet for water (look under, there is a lot of foam there)

Hmmm, frantically searching away and seems to possibly point towards a fault in the CEM unit.
Certainly seems that way from the random codes that pop up!
I’m searching for a fault guide to establish if that may be the culprit?

Default Update

Spent most of the evening reading up the various fault codes, wows and worries of others with similarish issues.

Spoke to Lucas from Volvo Diagnostic, nice guy has a chat about the various codes and will be sending him my CEM.

Lots of unfinished threads on various sites, so I’m going to update regardless of what happens!
