Hope they really do have a specific fix for this for you, as opposed to just reinstalling the latest generic software in the hope that it MIGHT fix it.

The guy on the phone seemed fairly confident. Apparently, there's a technical service sheet for this issue.

Right royal pain in the a$$ that. Mine is not long out the factory, and neither is another member on here as they had a MY21.5.

So be interesting what the fix is if it works, and why it's not working by default. If only could do OTA updates on this car!!

I've only read the beginning and end of this thread so forgive me if I'm covering old ground. I'm convinced it's something to do with the car software, not the app.I took my MY2019 XC60 T8 to Dove's in Horsham for a service and software update. Route tracking and consumption statistics were all working on the way there and when they drove it into the workshop.

However, when they drove it back out of the workshop after updating the vehicle's software, only the start and end points are displayed and there are no trip statistics data shown.

Yes, it looks likely that it's easy to inadvertently install the wrong software component or miss a tickbox when installing software.

If this logging option only applies to T8 models, it seems reasonable to assume that most Volvo technicians skip this step just out of habit.

No. That's always been the case, at least since I've owned my car (Feb '19).

Clan is the expert on this subject - is this plausible Clan?

Interesting why would they hide this possibility for us if we already know it works for small percent of people?
