Default Amazon estate tailgate latch

Has anyone got a spare upper tailgate lock for an amazon estate, the lower bit that bolts to the underside. The plastic latch in mine has just disintegrated?

Do I remember that someone was printing the plastic part? There was certainly someone in the USA that was making them by one method or another.

Thanks for the reply. I might have a go at making a replacement out of nylon as I have managed to find the bit that fell off.

Rob at Amazon cars has a 3D printer and maybe able to help. Are you wanting the latch that screws to the car?

IPD in the US used to make a latch repair kit for the 122 Estate with the catch fabricated in aluminum for better durability. Unfortunately, that product no longer seems to be listed. My friend's solution to this common failure was to fabricate a new catch from a cutting / bread board of the appropriate thickness which was made from some plastic like material. Worked because he still had the spring.

Thanks for the various suggestions. In the end I cut one out of a block of nylon with the bandsaw and cleaned it up with the linisher and a file. Took about twenty minutes. I still have the original I used as a pattern if anyone needs it.
The bit I was most worried about was getting it back in as the latch needed to be bent in order to do this. Fortunately there was enough spring in it. Couple of pictures attached.
I believe those breadboards mentioned above are made from similar stuff.

Make a batch and sell them to Brookhouse, after you have offered them here of course.
