Default Silver Roof Rails

In the process of buying an 08 SE Sport that didn't have the roof rails from the factory - weird I know!

I'd like the silver ones, I think found on later cars? The only ones I can find on Ebay are the black ones!

Cheers guys!

I may be wrong, but I'm sure the original "Sport" and "R-Design" models the roofrails were optional and only became standard later in the R-Design models life.

Doesn't help your quest but may help as to why your car doesn't not have them.

You're correct. Roof rails weren't a standard item for the Sport SE model

Possibly. But as someone who has owned two XC90s, one with and one without, I can say that the reduction in wind noise at motorway speed is noticeable (and welcome), and therefore possibly there's an improvement in fuel efficiency to be had with it. Depends I guess on what your taste is and whether or not you actually intend to use them. My V8 gives considerably less engine noise than the D5, hence I'm personally glad of the extra hush.

Why not have em power coated? I did my black V70 ones so they matched my wheels. Looked very coordinated
