CEM Removal
That’s not something I’d want to dos in a rush again!
Removing the Cem is straight forward, but a bit awkward. I didn’t/couldn’t remove the wiper arm, stuck fast! So, managed to lift the plastic trim high enough to get my skinny hands in there. I can see why the Cem gets f**ked up, because the hollow of where it sits, can gather rainwater easily! So from now on, I’m parking down hill rather than up. Will update again shortly.

Update 2
Lukas from Volvo diagnostics, has confirmed there’s nothing wrong with the CEM, and after a quick conversation, I’ll need to send in the REM.

Fixed......for now!
Lobbed the CEM and the REM back in and all is well. No fault codes via Vida.
So now have a spare brake servo sensor, which I’ll keep for a spare! Just a side note. On putting everything back together, I saw that the side lights were on! I thought how is this possible, another issue!!! Nope, the light switch was in position II! I suppose with any car, I’ll just wait for the next issue. Highly recommend Volvo Diagnostics, Lukas is genuine guy and know his stuff. Also, a big shout out to those who replied and to those who regularly post on these forums to help others out. I wish I could help more and hope this update may help someone someday.
