Vida via USB?
Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to install Vida on a USB flash drive? I've limited options to install Vida on HDD, thus I was thinking if it's possible to connect via computer and use Vida from the USB? |

You can and you can even run a virtual machine file from a USB stick but the biggest issue is USB data speeds which can make Vida slow and borderline unusable.
You say you have limited HDD options but cloning your system onto and fitting a higher capacity HDD or even better, SSD is easy enough on pretty much all laptops, not especially expensive and would be the way to go.

I understand that it may slow down overall vida performance, but have you seen any tutorial on how to install Vida on the USB drive? |

If you make a vhd image instead, you should be able run it on the Macbook with Parallels. If you mean Macbooks with the M1 Apple silicone then I'm sure that a version of Parallels will be around soon if not already. There are YouTubers doing it. If you're borrowing a Windows laptop, why not install Virtualbox on it then have the vdi file on a USB stick? It will be slow but better than nothing.

I've already given my best suggestions and never needed anything else.
Maybe someone else will know.
