2017(17) Volvo V40 T3
Hi to everyone. I am interested in a 2017(17) Volvo V40 T3. More interested a petrol car as i work from home now. Whose engine is in this car? It's not a Ford eco-boom engine is it? Anyone got one, are the seats comfy? What are they like to drive and are they reliable?
Thanks in advance Andrew |

The engine in a 2017 T3 is a Volvo VEA engine, manual version is a 2.0L and automatic is essentially the same engine but has a shorter stroke to reduce capacity to 1.5L.
I have a five year old T2 automatic (same engine as T3 but lower power) which I have owned almost from new and is now on 57K miles and no problems so far. Volvo seats are very comfortable, probably the most comfortable you will find in any make of car. Personally I find the V40 a solid, comfortable and relaxing car to drive. Best thing really would be to take a test drive in one. |

I find my T3 nice to drive with adequate power. I’ve had mine for just over 2 years and no problems so far. On a run I get around 47-50 mpg which I’m very pleased with.
