Default C30 aux in ?

Hi, just bought a 2010 c30 SE Lux but it doesn't appear to have the aux in socket in the centre box. The button on the fascia says "cd" and not "mode" pressing it takes me straight to the cd, no sub menu.

Is there a way to add one ? would really like to make use of my highway400 dab from old car without relying on the fm modulator as it's unreliable.

Find it very odd that a car from 2010 with the spec it has doesn't have the aux port already there.

Does it have the 6CD changer? If it does it may not have the aux port or USB input. Surprising how many people are popping up with cars that don't have one. Does it have High Performance Audio?? It might help if it doesn't but there may be a way to do it without one although it may be costly.

When you switch the stereo on does it say High Performance Audio or is there just a picture of a C30?

Yeah, just the picture, doesn't say anything at all.

In which case this might work but I'd advise to message the seller and check.

HP Audio makes it more complex so it should work in your favour. Shame the car doesn't have the Aux or BT music pre installed.

Excellent, thanks, will look into that.

Never gave it a second thought, just assumed it would have the aux in at least, Oh well at least there appears to be an easy solution.

Honestly I thought it was standard after the 2007.5MY facelift as our C30 had one and that was a povvo spec one. My 50 has everything, CD, Aux, BT & USB, even if they are all a bit tempremental!

I doubt that's an option. To be honest I can't see what valid use case that cable has given it states the following:

Compatability: (sic)
Volvo OEM Original Radios Installed with Aux option and AUX button.

Now why would you want this if you already had AUX in and, also splitting hairs, there's no such thing as an AUX button. Mode, maybe.

Your options are few. You can basically add something that has it's own amp such as a BluePower (very costly) or Parrot (quite costly) or something that uses an FM transmitter. I've resorted to a £15 FM transmitter as all other options I tried were no better and much more expensive.
