850 Cars: My new 850

I have just won this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=280362463883 on Ebay.

As you can see the equipment has not been listed. Can anyone give me an idea of the standard equipment on this model. I am picking the car up on Tuesday but I was just hoping for AC Cruise and a Trip computer.

As far as i know, yo uneed the GLt for that spec, I've a 98 Se saloon and it doesnt have any of that, but my dad's 95 GLT had cruise and trip info.

If the seller hasn't mentioned AC I'd assume it hasn't got it, or (more likely) it's broken.

Volvo options are a nightmare, there are so many permutations as to what it could have depending on what option packs were or weren't fitted.

Leccy windows and part-leather is probably about your lot I'm afraid unless it was optioned up a bit.

That is absolutely true, my 850 T5 is officially GLT spec, but is equipped like a CD, and then some, obviously because somebody went berzerk with the options list.

That said, and obviously can't see much, but for the price you paid, it looks a decent enough car.

In -98 I bought a 30K miles 1995 850 2.5 GLT (170 bhp) Auto and had

(as standard):
Cruise
Half Leather
Radio/Cassette
Electric Front Windows
Electric Mirrors
ABS brakes
Front Foglights
etc
etc

It also had factory fitted:
Sports Suspension (lowered!)
Sunroof

I fitted:
Air Cond (cost £1400 back in 1998! Best thing I ever did).
Sony Cassette & CD Changer

I noticed it with less than one minute left, so I took a gamble on it and I will find out tomorrow if it has paid off!!

Though my car has aIR con i have never used it (it probably now needs regassing if the seals havent gone) i have had Four other Volvos and they all had aircon (never used).open the windows,sunroof.

I must be unusual as aircon on cold, does funny thing to my arm muscles.

Having recently purchased a 1995 2.5 SE I believe that it should have AC but not leather or part leather seats. I think the SE model provided leccy windows all round and the AC with a "plush" upholstery but I stand corrected by anyone more knowledgeable.
Hope you like the car and that it is indeed a bargain.
