Default Volvo 145S for sale - Greece

Hi,

We have an old Volvo 145S for sale. The car is located in Argolida in Greece.

The car has not been driven for a number of years and it is not driveable in its current condition. However, it has all its original features and it is a great renovation opportunity for a Volvo enthusiast !

If you are interested in pictures and additional information, please get in touch.

Thank you

Hi 'mdrand'

A very interesting post, I recently bought a 1970 145 as a project vehicle, so a 145 is always of interest to me, so if you do have any pictures or additional information, then please email my on stevemountain@btinternet.com.

Obviously the most difficult hurdle to cross is the vehicle being so far away, and realistically it may be easier to sell in mainland Europe, I believe Netherlands/Germany has quite a following of these old things.

Cheers
Steve

This car used to belong to my father and I kept it for sentimental reasons. Unfortunately, I never found the time to renovate it and I think it is better if it is looked after a person that does have the time.

I am living in the UK. I will post pictures as soon as revisit Greece - hopefully by March.

Thanks,

Miltos

Post Pictures of Volvo 145S - Restoration project

Hello,

I finally managed to visit Greece. Here are a few pictures of the 145S. Clearly it needs major restoration.

It is a great opportunity for a car restoration project and I am sure these cars are really hard to find.

Please contact if you need additional information.

Hi
your car is a 144 not hard to find at all
there are 2 on Ebay at the moment

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/156425697351

this one is hard to find https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/156421900619?

so 2000 £ will buy you one in right hand drive format
think about the cost of getting the car to uk
say 2£ a mile say 2000 miles so 4000 £
if you want the car saved you might offer it for free and maby a 2 week stay for free where the car is
sorry i guess you dont want to hear this
or there is the scrap man that is local to you

Thanks for the message grumpydad.

The ebay link is not the same car surely. For example the front is totally different ...unless I am missing something?

Car could be offered for free if there was genuine interest. Not free accommodation though lol.

Hi Mdrand,

Now you’ve posted the photos, your car is definitely a 144, rather than the 145 as mentioned in your original post, the 145’s are the estate versions.

I think as DerekUK suggested earlier, the best route is to sell locally in Greece and perhaps contact the Volvo club as linked.

An alternative would be to advertise on something like this

https://www.carandclassic.com/country/105/

Looks as though you can post for sale by country, although I don’t know what, the fee structure is.

Good luck, Cheers,
Steve
