I'm on holiday in France and last came to drive home from the restaurant and noticed the lights on my Torslanda were not on. When turned to sidelights these worked as normal - sidelight headlights, sidelights, tail lights, but turn the dial to main and all go off. Any ideas before I go digging around looking at fuses and relays? Thanks Chris

OK, so there is a melted wire going into the relay so obviously that's the issue. My questions are 1 - why would the wire be getting so hot? and 2 - is there a work around if a simple clean up and retry doesn't work bearing in mind I'm away from all my spare and tools. Thanks.

I would take a look at the fuses, clean everything up, and then check the wiring behind each headlight to ensure you haven't got any cables shorting out.
