Default Oil and Tranny coolers

Just thought i would share some pics of my oil coolers to show people that it is a mod that can be done to the 850's.

sorry for the state of my car, it does a fair few miles!

the top one is for the oil and the bottom for the atf, both dissipate a fair bit of heat, especially the atf one even under normal driving conditions. The temp gauge still reads 3 o'clock so it dosent seem to be over cooling. each one cost about £70 inc (cooler and hoses).

The atf cooler seems to be doing a good job as at 1000 miles since the last change the fluid is still red, even with the rica.

Give your R a clean! It looks filthy!

Does the oil cooler restrict air flow at all?

I still want to put an ATF cooler on mine, if and when I rica it, although it's now looking likely that I'll change to an R sometime over the summer so I'll probably hold off RICA until then! Thats assuming the R will be an auto..!
