I saw them pics on sweedspeed at weekend was on volvo stand at scotish motorshow wasn't it.
Its how the R should look i think they might sell a few more with it having alot more power.

ye gods no :s only a bog standard new S40 was at the motorshow, i had a rant about that on another thread. these pics are from an american show i think.

Why did Volvo stop using bright vivid colours? now all they have are washed out ones.

I wonder if they will ever take it any further?

Pherhaps i should mention it to the wife, after all xmas is coming. ;)

Mmm, guess I fell in love with it too, but it does make me a bit curious. Somewhere along the line I read that our T5's are 2.3 litre because the 2.5's lack enough metal between the bores to stand high boost. Likewise our internals are also a bit fragile 300ish being a safe limit, ok, so the new models are 2.5 and what do they say about that show car, "Pumping out an estimated 500 horsepower each with EVOLVE's custom turbo and intercooler upgrades and a ram-air intake". So are the engines in the new models significantly stronger?

A lot has went into the details of this car, not only does it produce the power but it has looks to match; i really like the new S60R anyway because all the clues of power are there but it's still quite subtle really, whereas this one says : " i'm the daddy " :)
