Non a/c 940 heater valve adaptor plate

Has you know I am still looking for an adaptor plate, I put a request in with 1st Choice who then search various breakers etc, Today I got a quote from AAA AUTOMOTIVE who have the part, would you believe they have quoted £145, that's right £145, I decided to phone them to see if they had made a mistake, but no, they are firm on that price, their simple reply was " the part is no longer available so the price goes up" I more or less told them where to insert it, (robbing git's) just jumping on the bandwagon of hard to find parts. If you walked into a breakers and took that part off they would probably charge you a tenner as it's a piece of plastic and they wouldn't even know what it was
