Default V50 D3 2011 gearstick vibration under acelleration

Hi,

First Post here. I recently bought a beautiful volvo v50, d3, 2011 on 110k miles. I've just noticed a mild vibration/humming while acellerating I can feel when holding the gear stick in 5th gear only - the other gears are fine and feel smooth. I only feel the vibration within the gearstick and not in the car itself.

The vibration during acelleration isn't visible, however, whenever I step on the gas pedal I initially see a small amount of movement, and it goes back when I release it. Almost as if there's a little bit of slack in the system somewhere on 5th gear only. I have 6 gears total so seems a little odd.

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

That will be a bearing in the box normally, it could be clutch related but normally it's slack somewhere vibrating.
