Default V60 lack of power.

Hi, I own a 2 litre 5 cylinder v60 it recently developed a coolant leak from the metal pipe that runs and branches off at the rear of the engine. A multitude of components had to be removed to complete this task which was successful. The car has now developed what can only be described as a misfire (accelerates from 2000rpm then hesitates then accelerates. Also hissing and whoshing noises can be heard from inside the car. Clearly something has been upset during the coolant pipe repair. Any ideas please.

It could be a few things;

-Split rubber hoses
-The intercooler itself has cracked (not as common, but does happen)
-Turbo resonator seals

I'd get a compression test done on it

Reason I'm saying this is my old V50 D4 (5 cyl - 2 litre diesel) started doing this and it ended up being a blown head gasket. This maybe the reasons why coolant leaks started, engine compression pressure in the coolant system.

I left mine too late and cooked the engine, cost me £1600 to put right

Did it do it before the split the pipe? If no, check your work and see if you e connected everything correctly and you haven’t damaged any pipe work that could cause a boost leak?
