Clunk pulling away
2003 V70 D5 (Auto) I have has a small clunking noise when I pull away from a standstill and only a standstill.
Would this be the bottom mount coming from the gearbox area? Any advice greatly appreciated. |

The mount you described did the same thing in another car I had. That mount had rubber inserts which had deteriorated badly.
Inspect all the mounts given their age. How many miles are on your '03? The mount at the crank pulley requires removing the RF wheel, removal of two 10mm sheet metal nuts and folding the fender liner back (it's creased) for inspection. |

Could easily be the lower engine/transmission torque mount. I replaced mine - it is an easy job
