You also need to swap the ABS control module, and the steering column lock or the immobiliser will not allow the car to start at all.

If you want to avoid a message that the mileage has been tampered each time you start the car, you will also need to swap the instrument cluster, and on automatic cars you may also need to swap the TCM and then have it recalibrated to your gearbox, or just swap the entire gearbox with its control module.

If the 'MOST security' setting is enabled on the stereo (most UK models have this enabled), then you will need to swap all of the audio components on the fibre optic network (CD, infotainment/climate display, amplifiers.

You may need to also swap the SRS/Airbag module if it comes up with a communication error fault.

It's usually less effort to get your original modules repaired or cloned onto replacements.
