Default Removal of flywheel bolts

Hi,

Stupid question - I've got my transmission off and don't fancy stripping the heads now that I've got this far, so I'm being a bit cautious! I'm trying to get at the core plug and seal behind.

Can anyone tell me what bolts these are? They hold on the flywheel on the automatic D5 (Year 2003, in an XC90). I don't recognise them, looks like a 12 points socket would fit on them, am I right?

use one of your cheap 12 point sockets to gauge the size ( 17 mm AF I believe) but buy a decent one to undo it and torque them back up .

Any recommendations on what to get?

Looks like Toolstation/Screwfix/Halfords don't have anything I could grab today anyway

I’m relatively new to Volvos (but still know how to wield a spanner on vdubs). Might be prudent to check that the flywheel bolts aren’t single use and if so get some ordered up before you nail it back together 🙏🏼
