Default Amazon Estate EBay

Anyone else watching the green amazon estate on eBay that finishes today? They still have a few hours to try and get back what they bought it for in January from the classic car auction in Kings Lynn for some reason it will not let me upload a picture of what it went for £4968

Hi Simon,

Looks like a very good purchase at anywhere around that price.

Not seen you lately, once on the road you flashed me when I was heading to Diss in the Amazon.

That floor looks ominous! Inner skin not the outer? It is a single skin normally so must have a skin patch. I've got the pics from the Mathewson's auction. "Sharon" is a dealer. For £5k I guess it is a cheap Estate.

Hi Derek,

She will need work for certain, and a photo shows little when compared to being stood next to the car, but looks to be mostly solid, plus twin carb and overdrive to boot.

£5k gets little more than a basket case these days it would seem.

Derek who on earth are Amazon Restorations Essex? Thought I knew all the Amazon connections but never heard of them?

Are you coming to the Southwold gathering this year, I assume Simon and Jane will be there.

J.

There are several more pictures on the kings lynn website when it sold in January, I spotted they had sold a few other cars

Possibly a loss when all fees paid but hopefully will now have a good home

This perhaps puts Amazon values in perspective: a more or less running and riding motor car for £5,000.

J. Derek who on earth are Amazon Restorations Essex?
I'd say incorrectly named and could be Rob Whitton. Maybe he will comment?
Yes, sold for £5000 so the seller will make a loss. For the buyer, hopefully a good base for improvement. Maybe Rob bought it back!
