I am planning on another couple of colour coats after flatting with 1200 AGAIN and at least two coats of lacquer.

Or leave it at two if CBA kicks in which is very likely.

Angry

The wheel saga continues.

Good news: KwikFit found a guy to take them off at no cost to me. Hurrah. I now have no locking wheel nuts.

Bad news: The guy managed to chip two of my nice shiny wheels.

So now I have to chase them again and find a way to get the wheels fixed.

Just an oil/filter change at 128,785 mi. (6,150 mi. on the oil) using a 10 year old 6-pack of Castrol 0W-30 European Formula I unearthed.

Through my entire driving life I've made "700 mile weekend trips" 10 times a year. I'm certain these runs have contributed to the longevity of every car I've owned.

Plenty of HGVs and buses manage spaceship mileages thanks to them being in pretty much constant use with the mechanicals spending their lives being at the correct operating temperature. Unfortunately most of my trips are 10 miles each way or less.
