Excellent Doug. It's hard to tell from the pics but it looks like the lever that mounts on the manifold could go back more and someone has bent the stop forward. I might be dreaming but see attached pic of how it should be. With it straight there should be a 0.5mm gap between the stop and lever.

Another adjustment that is possible: the bulkhead bracket has slotted holes in it where the bolts that fasten it to the bulkhead pass through.
If you loosen the bolts the bracket can be adjusted up and down. You may want to fiddle around with this? |
