V40 pedestrian airbag ecu location
Hi guys
Newbie here, I have recently taken my father's v40 D2 after he passed away last year, my wife had a minor carpark shunt in it last week an the pedestrian airbag under the bonnet went off, no other airbags went off. I have replaced the airbag unit an had the codes read but I need the pedestrian Ecu reset, but I need to find where it is located on the car. I believe its not the same one that is under the gearstick as that's for the rest of the cars Srs system. Any help would be much appreciated |

Hi
Unfortunately as I have found out there are two on the V40 2012-2019, one is the SRS module under the gearstick in the centre console and there is also a smaller module for the pedestrian airbag which is located in one of the footwell but I can't see it without stripping out the glove box etc. Also the Dealer will not reset any data on these modules they require you to have a new module, an that's according to volvo Chester. |
