First time towing & checking out van

i had a car and caravan pass me one day downhill on the m5 ,i was doing 60 ish he was doing 70 at least and swaying like a bike in a tank slapper i slowed to watch and sure enough it turned over the van disintegrated on one side and all the family things were spread over a big area the car ended up with its back wheel 2 foot off the ground held up by the towhitch a lorry pulled into the lane in front of it to stop anyone plowing into it and i went round the debris and carried on .
Ive towed a boat for years and with it loaded correctly had no trouble at 60 anywhere except one time i had forgot to take the reverse lock off the brakes on the trailer when i had to do some demon braking,i made up an automatic one which came on when in reverse with a peep peep on as well very posh
