Hi, there's a trackday at Marham this coming weekend which there are at least 10 people from this forum going to. Unfortunately they need to do a security check on all participants and it is now too late - have a look at the Marham post to get an idea of what's going on!

How about Donnington? Easily accessible from the South via the M1 or M5/M42 and from the North via the M1.

October - December price is £105 for a full day.

Sign on is at about 8:30 with track time beginning at 10. Each hour is divided into 3 sessions of 20 mins; Novice, Intermediate and Advanced, which you choose based on how experienced you feel.

Sessions run from 10 til 1 I think. Break is from 1 til 2 and then sessions again from 2 til 5. So basically you get 6 (I think) 20 min runs, which trust me, is ample.

Its a great circuit, I've driven it many times in my track Pug 106 and it's loads of fun. Anyone that doesn't fancy driving might be interested to know its free to come in and mingle with those on track and spectate.

What ever happened to the Volvo Owner's Club at the Castle Combe "Classic & Sportscar" Magazine action day? There was a good turn out some years ago but it's dwindled now ..

I would like to attend a track day but nolonger own a modifiedcar or track car. Did some track days years ago at Knockhill and had great fun. Wrecked the car tyres and overcooked the brakes.
