Question 215/65/16 on a V70?

I live in a very rural area with very muddy roads. I looking to put some more suitable (Mud + Snow) tyres on the V70. Most of these start at 215/65/16. I know the standard 16" tyre is the 215/55 but will a 215/65 fit?

I.e. fitted a standard size from the XC70 on to a V70?

Cheers
Steve

No that's not the only difference Paul, as the side wall is also a greater %age...
Check the wheel sizes here:
Linky....

But you end up with a wheel much bigger and your speed will be higher for the same rpm..
Detail:
Difference in circumference:169.65mm or 8.55%
So when your speedo reads 70mph, you're actually travelling at 75.99mph
