Glad it still has a tow bar.

Would rather spend that sort of money on a well looked after standard example myself, as standards examples are the ones that will keep going up in value.

Says that it's only covered 1000 miles on the heavily modified engine..... I think it would be more reassuring if it had covered 15-20k to prove some longevity.
Agree that standard is more desirable plus it has more understated class. Also, what's with the food preparation area plaster stuck to the wings? Is that a good thing in performance circles?

Taping the bonnet down offers a quicker release mechanism than the latch when your engine catches fire.

That should be the standard unit of measurement for any Volvo. 0-60mph with a 1650kg caravan up a 5% incline at 1250m above sea-level at 20 degrees C. Must have 3 kids and a medium to large dog in the back too.

Looks great but if something goes wrong, you can't exactly take it to your Volvo dealer can you?
Bodywork does look fantastic though. |

but with 500bhp that's got as much power as the 40t artic I drive, perhaps it would be best to reinforce the towbar and caravan hitch. I'm afraid I'm with the sceptics, with all that modification it looks like a fun fest of potential issues, great if you're into that sort of fun I suppose, like my next door neighbour who spends 364 days fettling his Caterham and 1 day out blowing up the engine to provide another 364 days of fettling fun.

A Volvo mechanic told me that the 300bhp V70R eats drive shafts - god knows what 500bhp will do to them.
