XC70 2007 D5 Geartronic 185 Quick Sale Option!

Looking to pass on my XC70 if anyone might be interested.

Silver with black leather interior, 160,000 miles FSH, good Michelin cross climate tyres on. MoT due early December. Runs well, generally been used for long runs up and down the country, but the time has come for me to sell her as Edinburgh gets itself ready to wage war on older diesel cars!

We buy any car offers £1205 for it, Arnold Shark have offered £1450 for her to trade in, so it's going there on Monday. If someone is interested, let me know ASAP! Reg plate is SW07FSU if you want to do a look up online.

I didn't really give anyone much chance with this, nor try very hard with photo's! It's going to the trade in in an hour, so I've removed the extra Volvo boot carpet (black) and the Bluemusic wee bluetooth adapter for the HU850 unit which does handsfree and music streaming in place of the external 10 CD changer (that was never there)

open to offers on those - will repost a proper add on them when I get a moment.

Yeah, I did and 4x4 has made off with the boot carpet and BT adapter as well. It went to Arnold Clark, so I expect she'll be at one of the central belt car auctions pretty soon though.

Thanks arcascomp, I gave the mat a shampoo and fitted now, BT adapter also fitted without the mic, an easy job and didn't have to disconnect the battery...

Arnold Clark now own Central Auctions in Glasgow, I would expect it will be sold there in the next few weeks

Morning chief,

So I happened across your old XC70 at the weekend, as was on the lookout for another 4x4 that was easier to get in, after getting rid of my Disco.

Ended up buying it!

Seemed a nice drive buddy, and perfect for what I wanted.

Quick question if you don't mind me asking. What is the switch for on the steering column? and also the wire poking out on the cabin lights at top, which is screwed to it?

Lastly - there was water droplets from the rear view mirror - guy said it was condensation, but was wondering if it was a failed windscreen bonding?

Sorry for pecking your head, but you would know more than anyone.

Many thanks for getting back to me and giving me that information. That was really appreciated.

That all makes sense now and clears all that up.

The car drive perfectly for me. Even if they had let it sit for months and let the battery go flat 😂

I used to have a C70 T5 and takes me back to just how comfy they are Volvos.
