Default V90 not slowing

I recently bought a 2019 V90 T5 Cross Country and found one aspect quite disquieting.

When I take my foot off the throttle pedal the car sails merrily along, hardly slowing. Downhill, when I take my foot off the throttle it accelerates and I have to apply the brake.

I have had automatic V70s and they exhibited a far greater engine braking.
My last car was a Tesla - that applied regenerative braking under the same circumstances.

The dealer has driven it and it drives normally and 'most modern cars have a coasting feature to improve fuel efficiency'.

Has anyone any thoughts? Is the V90's behaviour normal?
