Default volvo v70 lombard sensor

hi all last week mt 2001 v70 engine managment light came on , car had a wee splutter on motorway lasted less than a second ,and managment light cameon ,,,,so came home plugged in vida and code :ECM-2110 Front oxygen sencor(HO2S) Preheating- signal too high , well changed oxygeon sensor and reset light ,done test drive and a few start stops ,,,,, all ok no light on ,,,,until this morning , started engine and can you all guess ,,,,,yes the same managment and code back ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,any one got an idea what else this could be

Maf sensor perhaps, this is the primary sensor (after temperature) that determines the cars fuelling requirements, a dodgy signal from this will just relay the wrong (default rich) message to the injectors, and this will obviously affect the reading at the lambda. (rich error code bank 1 or front)... bank 2 is the rear lambda after the cat.

I'd at least give the Maf a clean with the appropriate cleaner and check the codes again after at least one overnight stop start cycle.

ps.
If you just threw in a cheap lambda sensor there's a very good chance you've wasted your money, don't throw the old lambda away just yet!

Btw, Lombard is a loan specialist.
