Interestingly it managed 21.8 today, so pretty well 1.5 bar. It’s having a new fuel filter fitted this week, along with oil, oil filter and air filter. Would it be wise to leave the egr until I’ve checked boost, or just get it cleaned while I’m at it? Very much appreciated. Mike |

Be careful when you take those big air pipes off when you're cleaning them, there will be some nasty nasty stuff in there. Gloves and mask are strongly recommended

Thanks RossiFan
It’s now got a new fuel filter, air filter oil and oil filter, plus sorted out a loose joint in then exhaust system. Management light returned after a few miles... code is now p0409 - egr circuit A Obviously need to get VIDA sorted, but any ideas welcome before I throw money at it? Cleaning seems the first thing to do? Cheers Mike |

Car is now services with new air, oil and fuel filters and new oil of course. Also sorted blowing exhaust by bolting the centre sections back together!
However need new rear anti-roll bar bushes. So, does anyone know what diameter rear bar is fitted to a 2006 XC70 D5 SE Lux, please? It’s cold out there this weekend! Also, engine light has returned, so have ordered VIDA and Dice. |

Someone on the forum suggested checking the ARB diameter with an open ended spanner (so much easier, brilliant idea!) instead of trying to use a vernier or micrometer. Think it should be either 19mm or 21mm.
Bushes can be bought from the famous auction site for not much money, but be aware that the originals are bonded to the ARB by Volvo, any replacements won't be.
