Default Info Wheel

Just bought a V50 (2008 2.0D) and have noticed that the info wheel on the left hand stalk doesn't bring up any info bar the traction control on/off in the centre dash screen.

Am I right in thinking it's a software upgrade that can add this?

Thanks

Yes it's a software upgrade. Your Volvo dealer can install it for a significantly large amount of money (It was about £300 when I asked)

Or VDash can do it for £60 but you will need to find someone to read out your CEM pin first (which will be an additional cost).

I'm playing around with editing the CEM configuration table in it's internal software and seeing if it can be enabled that way, but haven't yet figured out how to re-calculate the checksum.

I thought it would be, and yes for a software download form Volvo that's insanely expensive. Cheers for the info.

Oh can the CEM pin info be taken from VIDA?
